On 9th May Malaysians celebrates Mother’s Day. We have four children and all are married with one of our boys living in Sabah with his wife. So my other son, and two daughters, who are living in KL, together with their children gave their mother a nice lunch on that day.
But that Sunday morning, something touched me deep inside as I watched my wife bottle feed this little kitten who had no mother. Farrah my youngest daughter had rescued the kitten a month earlier from a pack of dogs which were tossing the frightened kitten around. There were a few bite marks on her tiny body. And it was barely alive. She took the kitten to the Vet, spent nearly RM350 for treatment costs, and lovingly nursed it back to health. As the kitten had no mother, Farrah and my wife has been taking turns for the past 3 weeks to feed the kitten from a bottle 4 times a day.
This picture was shot on Mother’s Day during the morning feed. Praise be to the Mothers of this orphan kitten, Farrah and my wife.
