info

Every time I drive back from my Miri office I pass a stand with fresh fruits, collected in some garden along the road. Some, such as ripe rambutans, I find difficult to resist. This morning I bought a pineapple and three mangos for RM4. Not really cheap, but the fruits are fresh, and genuine. I have lived in many places where fruits have survived weeks or months in a refrigerator, with a supermarket as the only sales outlet. So it’s a real treat to buy fruits along the roadside, and with a smile.

  1. and what a treat to see daily life from sarawak this week ;-)
