Peeking through my window on a rainy day, I found these two lasses on their way to pick up their employer’s children from school. Rain or shine, they will regularly carry their umbrellas plus two additional ones. Sunny days or thunderstorm, they will obediently trudge through to send the children home. On their return trip, they will be shouldering the heavy school bags and their umbrellas while the children run ahead. Such is the daily life of Malaysians, and their foreign helpers.
