Website - Woon Cherk is an 18-year-old student studying STPM in Kluang High School. Started taking photograph since form 4. He is now using Olympus E-300 + 2 Kit Lenses + FL-36 External Flash + some filters. Once won the Merit Award for Unfaded Memory National Secondory School Student Photography Competition 2006.
Woon Cherk is also interested in music (plays piano and guitar), computer (especially web designing and graphic designing) and badminton. He just started working as a freelance web designer who major in ASP.Net.

I saw this cuckoo bird when I was trying to search for something to shoot in my mum’s garden. It’s incubating its little eggs. At first, I tried to shoot at a very far distance so that I won’t scare it. Then I started to go nearer and nearer to get a larger view of the bird. I was quite surprised that it din’t fly away even when our distance was about 1 metre close. I could sense that it’s trying to protect its eggs from prey. I was touched. It’s really a great mother.
Well…i must say…its really nice!! :)
