What is this?
dailyMalaysia.org is an online project that is updated in journal-like fashion with a new locally shot photo each day by a contributing photographer selected for the week.
The next week, a new photographer will take over the job and so on.
The idea was greatly inspired by Scene from my life (formerly adayinthelife.org), which has succesfully collected images by photographers from all over the world since June 2002.
Why dailyMalaysia.org? What is different with this one obviously is that the photos are taken in Malaysia. The theme or subject matter however is left entirely to the photographer.
Who can participate?
Anyone. Well, any photographer located in Malaysia at the time that certain week is assigned to him/her. You don’t need to be a ‘professional’! We are very much interested in contributors from every walk of life.
The individual selected for a certain week must make sure though, to have internet access every day of that week and that a photo is taken within 24 hours prior to it being posted to the website.
